Wolves Partner with University of Wolverhampton and Hi*Ball for 150th Anniversary Season
Wolverhampton Wanderers have partnered with the University of Wolverhampton at The Halls and Hi*Ball ahead of the club’s 150th anniversary season in 2026/27, introducing a permanent indoor fan zone and broad commercial product integration to enhance the matchday experience.
Establishing the 2026/27 Indoor Fan Zone at The Halls
Deep in the offseason preparations for the upcoming 2026/27 campaign, Wolverhampton Wanderers finalized an agreement to relocate and upgrade their primary pre-match gathering space. According to club announcements, the new Wolves Fanzone at The Halls sits a short distance from Molineux and will complement traditional outdoor gathering areas that routinely encounter weather-related disruptions during the winter months. The venue is engineered to operate as a permanent indoor facility capable of hosting supporters before every home fixture. It will feature live football broadcasts, food and beverage options, musical entertainment, and guest appearances.
Wolves Executive Chairman Nathan Shi noted the strategic importance of the venue for the club’s landmark season. As stated by Nathan Shi, “As we celebrate our 150th anniversary season, we want to create experiences that bring people together and strengthen the connection between our football club, our supporters and our city.” Shi added that the initiative is designed to build on existing supporter traditions while resolving the logistical hurdles posed by open-air infrastructure.
Commercial Integration and Product Distribution with Hi*Ball
Alongside the venue partnership, the club secured a commercial agreement with Hi*Ball for the 2026/27 season. Per the commercial release, the brand’s zero-sugar and zero-calorie sparkling energy drinks—formulated with B vitamins, ginseng, and guarana—will be supplied directly to players and staff. Beyond the training ground and locker rooms, the products will populate concourse and hospitality areas throughout the stadium.

The partnership extends beyond physical retail stock. Hi*Ball branding will feature heavily in digital marketing campaigns and matchday activations as part of the company’s broader push to scale its footprint within the UK market. This mirrors a wider trend across elite football clubs striving to diversify revenue streams, optimize stadium hospitality yields, and modernize commercial inventory during milestone operational years.
