That month finished with 12 days at or above the 80-degree threshold, the most ever recorded at the airport.
Seasonal boundaries are strict in the historical logs. The latest date the airport ever registered an 80-degree reading in autumn occurred on October 21, 2003, topping out at 81 degrees. No reading has ever broken the 80-degree mark after October 21.
