Wichita Furniture Launches Luxury Gallery Showroom

WICHITA, Kan. — Wichita Furniture here has unveiled a new space dedicated to providing customers with an immersive, high-end destination for inspired living.
The gallery at Wichita furniture is a 10,000-square-foot showroom-within-a-showroom located inside the Wichita, Kan.-based retailer’s 105,000-square-foot flagship store on Kellogg dr. The grand opening was held earlier this month, marking the culmination of a year-long project lead by President Jordan Storey.
“This has been a passion project. It’s a segment that’s underserved in Wichita,” Storey told furniture Today. “I believe wichita deserves this, and we wanted to deliver.”
The Gallery features a carefully curated selection of luxury living room, bedroom, and dining room furniture, complemented by an expanded collection of accessories, lighting, decorative pillows, rugs, and more. The space is designed to inspire creativity and personalization, enabling customers to customize their homes with distinctive pieces that reflect their individual style.
“A major focus is inspiration. We want to inspire guests with the looks, textures, and colors they encounter,” Storey said. “The goal is for a guest to walk in and say ‘Wow, I want this,’ and to spark their imagination about what’s possible. The scale is impressive, the colors are vibrant, and there are unexpected accents. It’s a truly engaging environment.”

Although the space occupies only about 10% of the store, Storey believes that’s sufficient to make a statement. “As many of the items are custom orderable,it creates an eclectic look and demonstrates the possibilities,” he said. “While we have 10,000 square feet of display space,there are thousands of SKUs available to order.”
