Where Winds Meet Surpasses 100 Million Players

August 26, 2026 Rachel Kim – Technology Editor Technology

NetEase has announced that its upcoming open-world action role-playing game, Where Winds Meet, has surpassed 100 million players, according to data published by gamereactor.cn. The milestone reflects massive interest in the title across its targeted platforms as developers finalize network tests and performance optimizations.

The developer-backed figures place the title among the most anticipated releases in the current open-world martial arts genre. According to gamereactor.cn, the player registration and interest metrics accumulated rapidly following recent beta phases and promotional showcases organized by NetEase.

Technical teams are currently reviewing server capacity and localized client stability ahead of subsequent rollout phases. NetEase has not yet confirmed a final global commercial release date for Where Winds Meet.
