WhatsApp News & Updates – AJN Agencia de Noticias
Buenos Aires – Agencia AJN, formerly the Jewish News Agency, has formally launched an expansion into international reporting, positioning itself as a leading Spanish-language news source for the Middle East. The agency, based in Buenos Aires, announced the rebranding and broadened scope after a decade of focusing on Israel and Jewish community affairs.
According to a statement released by the agency, the shift reflects a strategic decision to capitalize on growing diplomatic and commercial ties between the Middle East and Latin America. AJN intends to serve as a key information conduit, covering diplomatic relations, trade exchanges, and agreements between the two regions.
For ten years, the agency operated as the Jewish News Agency, becoming a primary source of information on Israel and related political developments, according to LinkedIn profiles of current employees. Its content has been widely utilized by major media outlets and news agencies globally. The agency currently employs between 11 and 50 people.
The transition to Agencia AJN involved a website redesign and development handled by Tormenta Studio, an Argentinian creative digital agency. The new website aims to facilitate collaboration among artists and provide a platform for participation in national events, according to Tormenta Studio’s project description.
Alan Berliner, Lais Vázquez, Martin Solzi, and Aline Carvalho are listed as employees of Agencia AJN on LinkedIn. The agency’s social media presence is maintained through a Facebook page with over 15,000 likes, where it shares news updates and agency information.
AJN’s stated goal is to become the leading Spanish-language news agency for the Middle East, a position that currently lacks a dominant player. The agency has not yet announced specific editorial partnerships or expansion plans beyond its base in Argentina.
