Mbangula Set for Bundesliga Move as Juventus and Werder Bremen Finalize Deal
Juventus and Werder Bremen have reportedly made significant progress in negotiations for the transfer of young talent Samuel Mbangula. Sources indicate an agreement is close, with a valuation around €12 million, including bonuses. The Belgian winger is said to have accepted a five-year contract, turning down an offer from Premier League club Nottingham Forest.
Mbangula’s situation at Juventus has seen a notable shift. Initially a revelation under former coach Thiago Motta, the 2004-born player found his playing time significantly reduced following the arrival of Igor Tudor. Mbangula, who scored his first goal for Juventus on his league debut against Como and contributed important goals throughout the season, including one against Bologna, found himself on the fringes. His versatility was utilized, but with the tactical shift that saw Kenan Yıldız move into a similar role,Mbangula’s opportunities dwindled.Despite a respectable return of four goals and four assists across all competitions, the Belgian’s role diminished, leading to his likely departure for the German Bundesliga.
