Breaking: Heatwave to give way to Storms Across Europe This Weekend
A period of unusually warm weather across parts of Europe, fueled by the African anticyclone which brought temperatures peaking at 40°C to Spain in mid-September, is set to transition into a period of worsening weather conditions. According to 3B Meteo, a “deepening of a bag” – a low-pressure system - is expected over Western Europe in the next 24-48 hours, accompanied by a movement of African anticyclonic maximums towards Italy.
the shift will bring a deterioration of weather extending from England, France, and Spain to Italy. The first “signs” of change are anticipated on Sunday with the approach of fronts to the western Alpine arc and initial showers.A significant worsening, including strong thunderstorms, is forecast for the night between Sunday and Monday.
