Wang Leehom and Croatian friends.
With those words on November 3, 2026, former Singapore foreign minister George Yeo shared photographs of a dinner he and his wife, Jennifer Leong, hosted for the Mandopop singer and a group of friends from Croatia, asiaone.com reported.
The 50-year-old artist responded publicly to the gathering, thanking his host for the meal. Thank you George, for your warm hospitality, friendship and generous wisdom,
Wang wrote on Facebook, adding appreciation for Jennifer, Edward, Maggie, Billy, Freddie, Grandma Mary, and the companions from Croatia. Wang posted the same image to his Instagram Story on November 4, 2026.
The dinner extends a relationship that began eight years ago. Wang and Yeo first crossed paths in 2018 at the Sun Valley Conference, an annual gathering that draws figures from business, technology, and media, according to reports by The Straits Times, CNA’s 8days and Mothership. The two men met again in Taipei in September 2023, where Yeo discussed his experiences alongside Singapore’s founding prime minister, the late Lee Kuan Yew.

Social Welfare Collaboration in Singapore
Wang’s time in Singapore extended beyond private social calls into ongoing philanthropic work. In July 2026, the singer released an English-language song titled Hope
to support Epworth Community Services, a local social service agency assisting children, youths, and families facing difficult circumstances. The track premiered at the agency’s fundraising gala at the One Farrer Hotel on July 31, 2026, before arriving on streaming platforms on August 4. The project paired Wang with Singaporean music producer Goh Kheng Long, a collaborator of more than three decades.
Following the release, Wang met with Goh and the leadership team at Epworth Community Services. In a November 4, 2026, social media post, the welfare agency described the discussion: A meaningful meeting with Leehom, Kheng Long and Epworth’s leadership team! We discussed the children, youths and family service landscape in Singapore and how the community can come together to do our part. It does take a village!
Epworth Community Services thanked the singer for his continued backing and indicated plans for further collaboration.
