Walt Disney Imagineering has unveiled its most lifelike Audio-Animatronics figure to date for the new attraction, “Walt Disney – A Magical Life.” This advancement builds upon the pioneering work of Walt Disney and his Imagineers, who first introduced Audio-Animatronics technology at the 1964 WorldS Fair with a figure of Abraham Lincoln in the “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” show.
The technology,first developed in the 1960s,has seen significant improvements over the past six decades. For “Walt Disney – A Magical Life,” the Imagineering team pushed the boundaries further,developing what thay term “moonshots” for humanoid figures.These advancements include highly detailed features such as soft eyelids, expressive eyebrows, and a lifelike twinkle in the eye, all designed to capture the personality of Walt Disney.
