what Volunteers Can Expect
Prior to the event, all volunteers will recieve detailed data regarding their assigned roles. A brief on-site orientation will be provided before each shift, ensuring everyone is well-prepared. Opportunities range from customer service roles to essential logistical support, offering something for every skill set and interest.
Available Volunteer Positions
BC Rugby is currently seeking volunteers to fill the following positions:
- Merchandise Sales: Assist BC Rugby staff with selling official event merchandise. A complimentary hoodie is provided to all volunteers in this role.
- Score Runners: Efficiently collect and deliver scores from match officials to event headquarters, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Site Assistants: Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for players and spectators throughout the venue.
- Score Inputters: Support BC Rugby staff by accurately entering scores into the tournament management system.
- Field Setup & Takedown: Contribute to the physical setup and dismantling of the event infrastructure, including tents, signage, and safety padding.
