The accolades come from the 2025 Bernard A. Birnbaum,MD,Quality Leadership Ranking by Vizient,Inc., a respected annual assessment of hospital performance.
The Vizient study, conducted since 2005, evaluates hospitals based on a thorough analysis of patient care quality across six key domains: mortality, efficiency, effectiveness, patient centeredness, safety, and – crucially – variation in care. * ThedaCare Medical Center – Berlin: Ranked #3 out of 154 in the Critical Access Hospital Cohort.
