Vivo X300 Ultra: Flagship Phone with Zeiss Camera Launches in Austria

March 30, 2026 Rachel Kim – Technology Editor Technology

Vivo Launches Flagship X300 Ultra with Advanced Camera System in Austria

Vivo is releasing its X300 Ultra smartphone in Austria, marking the first time an Ultra model from the X-Series has been available internationally. The device, officially unveiled today, will be available for pre-order starting April 16th, with general online availability beginning April 24th and in-store sales following at the end of April, according to Vivo.

The X300 Ultra places significant emphasis on its camera capabilities, developed in collaboration with Zeiss. Vivo is touting the system as one of the most ambitious ever implemented in a smartphone, featuring three main focal lengths – 14mm, 35mm, and 85mm – designed to cover a wide range of everyday photographic scenarios. A separate, optional tele-extender will further expand the range up to 400mm.

A key feature is the 200-megapixel telephoto camera, engineered to deliver sharp images even at high zoom levels. Vivo has incorporated stabilization technology and a fast subject-tracking system, capable of following motion at up to 60 frames per second, intended for capturing clear images of sports or concerts. A special coating is also designed to minimize lens flare.

Beyond still photography, the X300 Ultra supports 4K video recording at 120 frames per second, along with 10-bit Log color profiles, offering creators greater flexibility in post-production. The device also features multiple microphones designed to isolate voices and reduce background noise.

The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with Vivo’s VS1+ Pro-Imaging chip. It boasts a substantial 6,600 mAh battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. The X300 Ultra also carries IP68 and IP69 certifications for water and dust resistance.

The device features a 6.82-inch display with high brightness for visibility in direct sunlight. Vivo states the X300 Ultra will receive five years of system updates and seven years of security updates.

Vivo is offering pre-order incentives, including a potential discount of up to €1,309 on bundled accessories and a €50 voucher applicable to the entire X300 series. However, the company has not yet announced the official price of the X300 Ultra.

The X300 Ultra will be available in two color variants and weighs 232 grams, with a thickness of 8.49 millimeters.
