Big Brother Finalist Viriato Quintela‘s Daughter Kept Distant by Mother, Sparking Family Conflict
viriato Quintela, a recent finalist on the reality show Big Brother, is facing ongoing family tension regarding his relationship with his ten-year-old daughter, born from a brief encounter with a woman he already knew. While Quintela desires a closer bond, the child’s mother is reportedly restricting his access, causing significant distress.
“Five months after getting pregnant she calls her to say that he was going to be a girl’s father,” Quintela stated, expressing his frustration. He further revealed, ”The girl was baptized and we where not invited to the baptized and the girl was only seen when she understood.”
Gabriela, speaking on quintela’s behalf, emphasized the emotional toll the situation has taken. “the greatest disgust they gave him was to take the possibility of having a normal life, to see his daughter’s first steps,” she said, asserting Quintela’s dedication as a son and father.
Despite a recent easing of tensions, the relationship remains strained. Gabriela explained, “It is not yet there sleeping at home because it has no permission” from the mother.
