Violet Grohl has signed with Republic Records / Island EMI and shared two new songs, “Thum” and “Applefish.”
The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, daughter of Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, announced her signing with the major label group through her own imprint, Auroura Records, on January 24.
She released the two new tracks alongside the announcement. “Thum” features muscular riffs and raw emotion, while “Applefish” showcases Grohl’s softer side with cinematic flair and tender production.
