Vietnam Weather Forecast: Feb 23 – Temperatures & Rain Outlook
Hanoi and much of Vietnam are bracing for a mix of cloudy skies, scattered showers and cooler temperatures on February 23rd, according to national weather forecasts. The capital city will see a low of 20-22 degrees Celsius and a high of 24-26 degrees Celsius, with rainfall expected in the morning and evening.
Northern Vietnam will experience similar conditions, with temperatures ranging from 19-22 degrees Celsius, potentially dropping below 18 degrees Celsius in some areas. Showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the morning, giving way to localized light rain and eventual clearing in the afternoon. Temperatures could reach as high as 29 degrees Celsius in certain zones.
The Northeast region will as well see cloudy skies and rain in the morning and evening, with scattered showers throughout the day. Low temperatures of 19-22 degrees Celsius are expected, with some mountainous areas falling below 16 degrees Celsius. Highs will reach 23-26 degrees Celsius.
From Thanh Hoa to Hue, the weather pattern shifts slightly. Northern areas will be cloudy with scattered showers and morning fog, clearing in the afternoon. Southern areas will experience cloudy skies with sunny spells and scattered evening showers. Minimum temperatures will be 20-23 degrees Celsius, with maximums of 25-28 degrees Celsius, potentially exceeding 29 degrees Celsius in places.
The south-central coast will be mostly cloudy with occasional clearings during the day and scattered showers in the evening and overnight. Winds will be light, blowing from the northeast to east at forces 2 to 3.
The Central Highlands will experience cloudy skies with some clearings, and scattered evening and nighttime showers. Temperatures will range from a low of 17-20 degrees Celsius to a high of 29-32 degrees Celsius.
Southern Vietnam will see alternating cloud cover and sunshine, with localized heat and scattered evening and nighttime showers. Minimum temperatures will be 22-25 degrees Celsius, rising to 31-34 degrees Celsius, and 34-36 degrees Celsius in the eastern region.
Ho Chi Minh City is forecast to have a low of 23-25 degrees Celsius and a high of 32-34 degrees Celsius, with cloudy skies, occasional clearings, and scattered showers in the evening and overnight. Winds will be light.
