Singapore Public Transport Extends Hours for Vesak Day Eve

Singapore’s public transportation system will operate with extended hours on May 11, the eve of Vesak Day, to accommodate late-night commuters.Both SBS Transit (SBST) adn SMRT have announced adjustments to train and bus schedules.

  • Circle Line: The last train will leave Dhoby Ghaut station at 11:55 p.m. and HarbourFront station at 11:30 p.m.
  • Thomson-East Coast Line: The last train will depart Woodlands North station at midnight and Bayshore station at 12:12 a.m.
