Vertiv Revenue Forecast: High-20% Growth Through 2026 | AI & Cloud Driving Demand

February 12, 2026 Rachel Kim – Technology Editor Technology

Vertiv Holdings Co. Reported record 2025 results on February 11, 2026, fueled by a 252% year-over-year surge in organic orders and a backlog reaching $15 billion, solidifying its position as a key infrastructure provider for the rapidly expanding artificial intelligence market.

The company’s transformation from a division of Emerson Electric, sold to Platinum Equity in 2016 and subsequently going public via a SPAC merger in 2020, has coincided with the escalating demand for high-density cooling and power solutions required by modern data centers. Vertiv’s current success is directly linked to its strategic pivot towards meeting the specialized needs of AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.

Vertiv is responding to the increasing power density and deployment speed challenges within the AI sector with a new suite of solutions. These include Vertiv Unify, a cloud-connected management platform offering real-time visibility and control over critical power and thermal assets, designed for scalability across various environments. The company has too introduced prefabricated modular infrastructure, high-density rear door heat exchangers, and a new DC rack power system.

Scott Armul, executive vice president of global portfolio and business units at Vertiv, stated that the new additions to the company’s portfolio aim to streamline end-to-end systems integration, accelerate deployment, improve scalability, and increase power and cooling density for AI-driven data centers. Vertiv is offering retrofit designs for existing infrastructure, providing options for testing new AI models or upgrading current systems, with quoted designs optimized for various rack densities and deployment sizes.

Analysts forecast Vertiv will achieve revenue growth in the high-20% range through 2026, driven by secular demand trends in both AI and cloud computing. The company’s AI Hub initiative focuses on innovative power and cooling solutions for high-density applications, offering validated reference designs to optimize AI workload deployment. Reference designs are available for new builds, with options ranging from 40kW to 1400kW total rack density and varying rack counts and deployment sizes.

Vertiv’s ascent reflects a broader trend of infrastructure providers capitalizing on the AI boom, as highlighted by recent coverage in MSN. The company’s solutions address critical challenges related to accelerated computing, including power density, thermal management, and operational complexity. The company is currently offering solutions utilizing both air and liquid + air cooling technologies.
