Verizon Drops 60-Day Unlock, Now 365-Day Policy for Prepaid
Verizon has updated its device unlocking policy following recent FCC changes. The carrier will no longer automatically unlock devices, and prepaid devices now have a 365-day unlock requirement.

Now, Verizon itself is implementing a change.
As of January 27, verizon’s device unlock policy is indefinite. Verizon states that devices “will be unlocked when purchased at full retail price or if the device financing agreement balance is paid in full.”
