Cambridge Filmgoers Can Immerse Themselves in Cult Classics and David Lynch’s Surreal Vision This September
The Brattle Theater in Cambridge will host screenings of two cinematic touchstones this month: the notoriously bad “The Room” and the critically acclaimed, revived television series “Twin Peaks.” The screenings offer a rare opportunity to experience these works on the big screen and engage with their dedicated fan bases.
Originally airing for two seasons on ABC in 1991, “Twin Peaks” gained a cult following and experienced a remarkable resurgence with “Twin peaks: The return,” a genre-bending third season created by David Lynch and Mark Frost for Showtime in 2017. All 18 episodes of the 2017 limited series will be shown in two-hour blocks at the Brattle Theatre from september 10-18.A ticket pack for the entire “Twin Peaks: The Return“ series is available for $100.
