Munich – Price discrepancies⁣ at this year’s Oktoberfest are striking, with costs for traditional fare and luxury items differing considerably between tents. A ​snack board at the Schottenhamel tent can ⁢reach €198, while the Löwenbräu‌ tent offers it for €130 and‍ the Boandlkramerei for €150. These price variations‌ impact festival-goers’ budgets and highlight the range of dining experiences available.

The cost of staples like fries also fluctuates, ⁢ranging from €6 at the⁢ Oidn Wiesn’s Boandlkramerei to €9.90 at the Schützenzelt and €9.70 at Löwenbräu. Dessert options ⁣show even greater divergence; Kaiserschmarrn costs €19.90 at the Boandlkramerei but​ only €15 at the Ammer tent, with the Tradition tent offering​ a large portion for €28.50 – roughly €9.50 per person. For those seeking extravagance, the Hacker-Pschorr tent features a 1.2-kilo‍ Wagyu-Tomahawk steak ​for €410, dwarfing the Bräurosl’s ​truffle‍ Tomahawk at €229, while 250 grams of caviar costs €855, and half a kilo reaches €1775.
