UNT Health Launches Master’s Program in Clinical Nutrition
Fort Worth, TX – September 25, 2024 - UNT Health Science Center today announced the launch of a new Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition (MSCN) program, set too begin in the Fall 2025 semester. The program is designed to address a growing demand for registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) equipped to tackle complex health challenges through advanced clinical expertise.
The MSCN program will provide students with comprehensive training in medical nutrition therapy,research methodologies,and leadership skills. Graduates will be prepared to pursue advanced clinical roles in hospitals, clinics, private practice, and public health settings. This initiative responds to a critical need for highly qualified nutrition professionals as chronic diseases continue to rise and the importance of preventative healthcare becomes increasingly recognized.
