neo-Nazi Group Members Identified Following Protest Outside NSW Parliament
Sydney, NSW – Individuals linked to the National Socialist Network (NSN), a far-right extremist group, have been identified among attendees at a protest held outside NSW Parliament on August 31. The demonstration coincided with a rally organized by the NSN, prompting scrutiny of participants and their affiliations.
Among those photographed at the event were Mr Gruter, a known figure associated with the NSN, and a man resembling motorsport driver, mr Alessi.mr Alessi confirmed to the ABC he is a “proud member of White Australia,” a term used by the NSN to describe itself. Both men were pictured standing with NSN members, dressed in black.
This year, Mr Alessi has competed as a driver under his family’s racing brand, Alessi Motorsport.
Further investigation revealed the presence of Oscar Tuckfield, who in 2018 was linked to a far-right plot to infiltrate the Young Nationals. ABC NEWS Verify previously reported Mr Tuckfield’s attendance at the March for Australia rally, where he served as a marshal, tho he was not dressed in black like the NSN members at the recent protest.
The March for Australia’s chief organiser has previously stated they were unaware of any association between event marshals and the NSN.
The NSN is a neo-nazi group advocating for white nationalism and has been linked to several extremist activities. The group frequently utilizes online platforms to disseminate it’s ideology and recruit members. The August 31 protest is the latest in a series of demonstrations organized by the NSN in recent months, raising concerns about the growing visibility of far-right extremism in australia.
