United Airlines Flight Experiences Tyre Blowout After Landing at newark

Newark, NJ – January 19, 2026 – A United Airlines flight experienced a tire blowout on its nose gear shortly after landing on Runway 36L at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) earlier today.Passengers were temporarily disembarked onto the runway while the aircraft underwent inspection and maintenance.

Initial reports indicate the incident occurred during the landing roll. While the exact cause of the tire failure is currently under investigation,authorities have confirmed there were no injuries to passengers or crew.
