Ulsan Education Office Launches Web Drama & Promotion to Address Smartphone Risks for Teens
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education has released a three-episode web drama, “A World Locked in Smartphones,” designed to educate teenagers about the potential dangers of excessive smartphone use. The drama is already garnering positive attention,exceeding 7,000 views within its first week of release.
Each episode tackles a specific risk associated with smartphone dependence. “It Was Just a Game” focuses on the dangers of online gambling addiction,illustrating how seemingly harmless games can lead to financial hardship and psychological distress. “Look at Me” explores the negative impact of social media obsession, highlighting the anxiety and dangerous choices that can arise from seeking validation through likes and followers. The final episode, “It’s Not Real,” addresses the growing problem of deepfakes and the devastating consequences of creating and sharing manipulated videos.
