Quilicura Students to Attend Performance of “Porfiado Amor”
On Thursday, may 15, as part of an agreement between the UC Theater school and the Cultural Corporation of Quilicura, students from the commune will attend a performance of Porfiado love at the theater of the Eastern Extension Center. Participating schools include Francisco Bilbao Bicentennial Liceo,Luis Cruz martínez School,and liceo Jorge Indo.

Tribute to Ana Reeves
The final performance of Eloísa, a play that drew over 5,000 spectators in 2024, will take place on Saturday, May 17. Following the show, the UC Theater School will honor Ana Reeves, an alumna and celebrated figure in Chilean theater, for her outstanding portrayal of Dr. Eloísa Díaz.Reeves was recognized with the Best Performance Award by the Circle of Art Critics in chile.

On Thursday, May 22, Professor Patricio Rodríguez Plaza will launch his latest book, Theater, mediations, subjects and materialities (2024). The book explores how theater is constructed, the materials that compose it, and how these elements shape the viewer’s experience.
The idea is to rethink theater as a field of cultural, symbolic and technological interactions that transcends the staging.

New Salas Reserve Platform
