UAlbany Field Hockey Falls ⁢to #12 umass in Close contest, 2-1

AMHERST, MA – ​Teh UAlbany Great Danes battled a tough #12 UMass Minutewomen team on​ the road ⁤wednesday, ultimately falling 2-1 despite a standout performance from goalkeeper ‌Emma Peeters. The loss drops UAlbany to [record not provided in source] ⁤ on the season as they prepare to open conference ‌play next week.

The Great​ Danes initially took the lead late in the second quarter thanks to a ‌goal from Lillian Willis, ‌assisted by ‌freshman Jette Kurz.
