by Priya Shah – Business Editor

The Gasoline and Diesel Pricing Committee in the United Arab Emirates announced updated fuel prices for March 2026 on Thursday, February 28th. The new prices reflect adjustments across all fuel grades, according to statements released by both the Sharjah24 news outlet and Emarat Al Youm.

Diesel fuel will be sold at 2.72 dirhams per liter throughout March. Super 98 gasoline will cost 2.59 dirhams per liter, whereas Special 95 gasoline is priced at 2.48 dirhams per liter. E-Plus 91 gasoline will be available for 2.40 dirhams per liter, the committee confirmed.

The pricing committee’s decision comes as global oil markets continue to experience fluctuations. While the specific factors influencing the committee’s calculations were not detailed in the public announcements, the adjustments align with recent trends in regional fuel pricing.

The announcements were carried by the state-run news agency WAM, signaling the official nature of the price changes. No immediate comment was offered by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure regarding the rationale behind the adjustments.

The updated fuel prices will take effect on March 1st, 2026, and remain in place for the duration of the month. The committee is scheduled to reconvene at the end of March to determine pricing for April.
