U of U Health Achieves National Recognition for Ambulatory Care Excellence
U of U Health has once again demonstrated its commitment to superior patient care, earning a spot on the Vizient top performer list and achieving a #4 national ranking in the Vizient Ambulatory Care Quality and Accountability Awards. This prestigious recognition marks the eleventh consecutive year U of U Health has been recognized among the nation’s top ten for ambulatory care quality.
Only five healthcare facilities nationwide received honors in this category,highlighting U of U Health’s sustained dedication to excellence. The achievement is a testament to a collaborative effort across the entire U Health system.
“This recognition wouldn’t be possible without the astonishing support and partnership throughout U health,” stated Kencee Graves,MD,chief Medical Quality Officer at U of U Health. “To be a Vizient top performer for 16 years is a remarkable legacy, and it reinforces our unwavering commitment to improving the health of our community.”
The Vizient Ambulatory Quality and Accountability Study, which determined these rankings, rigorously assessed 66 facilities based on performance across five key areas: access to care, continuum of care, overall quality, efficiency, and consistency of care. The study utilized a thorough scoring system incorporating data from the AAMC-Vizient Clinical Practice Solutions Center®, Vizient Access and Throughput data, and the Vizient Clinical Data Base, analyzing both practice-level and patient-level information from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
