The Nanterre children’s court delivered its verdict on June 13, imposing prison sentences of nine and seven years on the two minors involved in the 2024 assault in Courbevoie, France. A third young man received a five-year educational measure with care obligations due to his age.

Me Blandine Weck de Terris, defending the minor sentenced to seven years, noted that her client “Always challenged the anti -Semitic character of the facts which were accused of.”
Muriel Ouaknine-Melki, one of the victim’s lawyers, emphasized the court’s acknowledgment of the rising anti-Semitism.
