Following this reconnaissance, the suspect purchased three raincoats at a business on Nichupté Avenue to prepare for the weather during the crime.
The investigation indicates that Yael N. traveled to the commercial plaza housing the dental office, left a motorcycle—which has since been secured by authorities—and posed as a scavenger by inspecting a trash container in front of the location. Meanwhile, Jordán N. maintained surveillance as a lookout, relaying the medical professional’s movements. As the victim exited the clinic and walked toward his vehicle in the parking lot, Yael N. approached and fired seven rounds from a 9-millimeter caliber firearm before fleeing the scene.
