TulSU Hosts Regional Master’s Conference: 200+ Research Works Presented

March 23, 2026 Priya Shah – Business Editor Business

Tula State University recently concluded its 21st Regional Master’s Scientific Conference, an event coinciding with the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia. Approximately 200 researchers participated, presenting their work across 27 specialized sections.

The conference encompassed a broad range of disciplines, from mathematics and mechanics to natural sciences, engineering, humanities, medicine, and military sciences, according to university officials. The event serves as a platform for young researchers to showcase their projects and contribute to the scientific community.

Inessa Gracheva, acting head of the Research Department and chair of the Council of Young Scientists at Tula State University, emphasized the consistent interest shown by students in the annual conference. “Our students demonstrate a consistent interest in the master’s conference year after year and delight us with fresh ideas. We are always ready to support the initiatives of young researchers,” Gracheva stated.

University representatives highlighted that participation in the conference, and particularly success in the paper competition, can open doors to scholarships awarded by the President and Government of the Russian Federation. This incentive aims to encourage greater scientific activity among students, fostering a pipeline of future researchers and innovators. The scholarships represent a significant opportunity for continued academic advancement.

The conference underscores the Russian government’s focus on bolstering scientific research and development, particularly among emerging scholars. The Decade of Science and Technology, launched in 2021, aims to increase investment in research and innovation, and to promote the international competitiveness of Russian science. Further details regarding the specific projects presented at the conference have not yet been released by the university.
