Tudor to Start Kolo Muani in Crucial Arsenal Clash | Tottenham News

Tottenham Hotspur manager Igor Tudor is considering starting Randal Kolo Muani in Sunday’s North London derby against Arsenal, as Spurs seek their first Premier League win over their rivals since May 2022.

The potential inclusion of Kolo Muani comes amid a challenging period for Tottenham, currently five points above the relegation zone. Tudor, appointed recently, is under pressure to secure a victory that would significantly ease those concerns.

Kolo Muani, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, has yet to score in the Premier League despite showing promise in the Champions League. Interest from Italian clubs Juventus and Torino surfaced during the winter transfer window, but Tottenham retained the player due to existing injury issues within the squad.

The anticipated start for Kolo Muani is largely due to an injury to Wilson Odobert, according to reports. Tudor previously worked with Kolo Muani at Juventus, suggesting a degree of trust in the player’s abilities.

Defensively, Tottenham face challenges with Cristian Romero serving a four-game ban. This necessitates a start for Radu Dragusin alongside Micky van de Ven. Dragusin, who joined from Genoa earlier in 2024, has found opportunities limited due to the presence of Romero, Van de Ven and Kevin Danso.

Dragusin’s recent start against Manchester City on February 1st was described as difficult, and he will face a stern test against Arsenal’s attacking options, including Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyokeres. A poor performance could contribute to a fourth consecutive home defeat against Arsenal.

Kolo Muani’s Champions League statistics for the 2025-26 season show 7 appearances, 3 goals, and 2 assists.
