TSU vs. SEMO: Military Appreciation Game at Nissan Stadium Nov. 7

TSU vs. SEMO: Military Appreciation Game at Nissan Stadium Nov. 7

November 6, 2026 Alex Carter - Sports Editor Sport

Tennessee State University hosts Southeast Missouri State for an OVC/Big South football matchup at Nissan Stadium on Saturday, November 7, 2026, featuring Military and First Responder Appreciation alongside a halftime performance by the Aristocrat of Bands.

Plan Arrival Around the Strict Kickoff Timeline

Fans heading to Nashville for the afternoon matchup face a tightly structured timeline. Fan parking lots and tailgating open at 10:30 a.m. Central, giving supporters time to set up along the Jefferson Street corridor before kickoff. The ticket office at Gate 6 on the west side opens at noon for walk-up sales and will call pickup, where ticket purchasers must present a valid photo ID. Stadium gates open to the public at 1 p.m., leading directly to the 2:32 p.m. kickoff.

Travelers should allow extra time for security screening and traffic management near Nissan Stadium. Digital ticketing requires fans to access their entries through the TSU Tigers App before arriving at the gates. Current TSU students receive free admission by presenting a valid student ID at Gate 3.

Parking Assignments and Tailgate Operations

Prepaid parking passes dictate entry points across the stadium complex. Lot E handles day-of-game parking, while Lots H and R North serve suite holders and season-ticket holders. Lot K is reserved for season-ticket holders, and Lot R South accommodates both season-ticket and prepaid single-game vehicles. Lot T functions as the ADA drop-off location, and Lot P is designated for RVs and buses.

Tiger Town tailgating occupies Lot R Northwest, opening alongside general parking at 10:30 a.m. Reserved tailgate space load-in begins early at 9 a.m., with vehicle access ending at 10 a.m. before tailgate gate access closes entirely at 2:30 p.m. Parking lots close to incoming vehicles at halftime.

Seating Layout and Stadium Amenities

Assigned seating places Tennessee State fans in Sections 128 through 141, while student sections are mapped to Sections 142 through 144 and 146. The Aristocrat of Bands occupies Section 145, and visiting fans are seated in Sections 111 through 121. Suite guests enter through the West Club Entrance, presenting digital suite tickets on their initial visit to receive the wristband required for ongoing access to the suite level.

Beyond the game itself, the draw extends heavily into band culture and HBCU tailgating traditions. Halftime features a performance by the Aristocrat of Bands alongside a formal recognition of the Metro Fire Department. Merchandise is available at the TSU Bookstore location on the main concourse near Section 132, while pedestrians can access the venue via the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
