Rep.Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has been challenged too an IQ test by Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, following a social media post by Ocasio-Cortez that referenced a department of Justice update concerning Jeffrey Epstein.
Ocasio-Cortez’s post appeared to allude to teh 2023 civil trial where a jury found former President Donald Trump liable for sexual assault, though not rape, in a case brought by writer E. Jean Carroll. Critics have suggested Ocasio-Cortez’s remark constituted defamation of the president.
