Trump Replaces presidential Portraits, Investigates Biden‘s Health & Autopen Use,‌ and Redesigns Rose Garden

Recent changes at the White House have⁤ drawn attention, including alterations to displayed ⁢portraits, a formal⁣ investigation into perceived efforts to conceal information about ⁤President Biden’s health, and renovations to the Rose Garden.

reporters accompanying the‌ White House noted ⁢the appearance⁣ of a golden pathway labeled ⁢”Presidential Walk of Fame”⁤ this week.

In June,⁣ former President Trump issued ⁤a memorandum directing his legal advisor, in consultation with Attorney General Pam Bondi and⁤ other⁤ agency heads, to⁣ investigate claims that individuals conspired to deceive the public regarding President‌ Biden’s mental state and possibly unconstitutionally exercised presidential authorities. The investigation was‍ also tasked with examining any attempts to hide information about Biden’s mental and physical health,as well as any coordinated efforts to dismiss videos ⁢suggesting cognitive disability as false.

the memorandum further‍ requested a review of official documents signed ⁤using an Autopen device, ⁢including⁤ pardons, executive orders, and presidential memos.

Biden’s advisors have denied any coordinated effort to conceal information regarding his health.

trump himself addressed the use of Autopen ‌devices in March, stating to reporters ⁣aboard Air Force One, “I never use it.” He added, ”We ⁢can use it, for ⁣example, to send a letter to a young man,⁣ because it is ⁤nice… but signing pardons and all the things that (biden) signed with an autopen is shameful.”

Beyond the investigation, Trump has made visible changes to the White House’s aesthetic. He has reportedly altered the arrangement of presidential portraits, replacing those of former Presidents Barack‌ Obama and George W. Bush, and even substituting a portrait of ⁤former First Lady⁣ hillary‍ Clinton with one of ⁤himself.

Notable renovations have also been undertaken in the Rose Garden, beginning in early summer. These include paving over grass with marble and stones, adding new lighting and speakers to facilitate events. The redesigned⁤ space, inspired by Trump’s Mar-a-lago ⁣estate, has been nicknamed the “Rose Garden Club.”

A White House⁣ official confirmed to CNN that ‌Trump is scheduled to host a “Rose‌ Garden Club” dinner ⁢on Wednesday night, inviting cabinet members and senior White House advisors to view the completed renovations. This will be the first opportunity for attendees to see the new addition to the ⁤western colonnade.

Chris Meagher, former Biden Deputy Press Secretary, commented on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the changes, stating he was “still impressed by how focused the White House is in‍ Trump’s promise to reduce‌ prices and in all the measures they are ⁢taking to make life easier ⁣for families facing difficulties.”
