Trump Continues To Use Pop Culture Memes Without Permission, This Time With A 3rd Term Easter Egg

January 28, 2026 Rachel Kim – Technology Editor Technology

The Trump management continues to announce policies using pop culture video game memes. Previously, the administration created an ICE recruitment video styled after the Pokémon cartoon intro. ICE also⁤ used Halo imagery in recruitment memes. Despite‍ clear trademark and copyright issues, Nintendo and Microsoft remained ⁤silent.

This silence emboldened the administration. They’ve now used imagery from the farming sim Stardew Valley to announce the reintroduction of⁢ whole milk in schools. The White House mocked up an image from the game for the⁤ announcement, as reported by Kotaku.
