Trolli & Xbox Celebrate 25 Years with In-Game Rewards & PAX East Experience
Trolli and Xbox have launched a collaborative promotion offering in-game content for popular titles like World of Warcraft: Midnight, Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred and Forza Horizon 6, alongside opportunities to win Xbox prizes. The “Sour Up and Win” program, announced Wednesday, celebrates Xbox’s 25th anniversary and runs through August 2026.
Participating Trolli products – including Sour Brite Crawlers, Very Berry, Fruit Punch worms, and Gummi Pops – will feature codes unlocking exclusive in-game items. Specifically, gamers can obtain a custom Trolli Peel P50 livery in Forza Horizon 6, a three-weapon bundle in Diablo IV, and the Gummi the Glow Wyrm pet in World of Warcraft, according to a press release from Ferrara, Trolli’s parent company.
The partnership extends beyond retail packs. Trolli is also creating an immersive experience, “The Sour House,” at PAX East in Boston from March 26-29. The activation will feature product displays, photo opportunities, and meet-and-greets with talent from IGN’s Game Scoop! and Unlocked shows. Daily giveaways of ROG Xbox Ally handheld gaming devices will also be offered to attendees who share photos of the Sour House on social media using the hashtag #TrolliSourHouse.
For those unable to attend PAX East, Trolli will stream content from the event via IGN, YouTube, and Forza’s Twitch channel, and host additional giveaways.
“Gaming is where culture lives, and Trolli has been part of that world alongside Xbox since 2021,” said Tia Craddock, Brand Manager at Trolli. “Getting to celebrate their 25th anniversary together feels like the right next step. For us, What we have is bigger than a retail promotion. The best gaming moments deserve something that matches the energy, and that’s exactly what Trolli brings.”
Consumers can find participating Trolli packs and official rules at www.trolli.com/Xbox. The promotion follows a similar collaboration earlier this month, where purchasing qualifying Trolli products allowed World of Warcraft players to claim the Gummi the Glow Wyrm pet.
