Trenton, Tennessee, is gearing up for a momentous occasion: its bicentennial celebration on Saturday, October 18th.The city will mark 200 years of history with a full day of events designed to engage residents and visitors alike.
The upcoming bicentennial isn’t simply a look back at two centuries; it’s a community-wide recognition of Trenton’s enduring spirit and a chance to celebrate its future. The festivities will offer something for all ages,from historical explorations to live music and family-friendly activities,reinforcing local pride and fostering a sense of belonging.
The day’s schedule begins at 10 a.m. with a guided tour of the historic cemetery. Lunch will be available downtown from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by ”Teapot Tours” at 1 and 4 p.m., and a Trenton history tour at 2 p.m. As evening approaches, The Company band will take the stage at 5 p.m., and The Jackson Hubtet will perform at 6:45 p.m. A Trenton “birthday party” is planned for 6 p.m.
beyond the scheduled performances and tours, the bicentennial will also feature a variety of food and craft vendors, alongside free games and inflatable attractions for children.
