Toronto Police Search for B.C. Man Wanted for Harassment

June 13, 2026 Emma Walker – News Editor News

Toronto police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 28-year-old man from British Columbia who is wanted in connection with an ongoing criminal harassment investigation. Authorities issued a public appeal for information on Tuesday, identifying the suspect as Connor D’Monte.

### Investigation Details
The Toronto Police Service (TPS) reported that officers are investigating allegations of criminal harassment involving the suspect. While police have not released specific details regarding the nature of the interactions or the identity of the complainant, they confirmed that a warrant has been issued for D’Monte’s arrest.

According to investigators, the suspect is known to frequent British Columbia but has ties to the Toronto area. The service has categorized the matter as a priority, though they have not disclosed whether they believe the suspect remains within the Greater Toronto Area or has traveled back to the West Coast.

### Suspect Description and Public Safety
Police have released a physical description to aid in the identification of the suspect. D’Monte is described as approximately 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

The TPS has advised the public not to approach the suspect if spotted. Instead, officials are requesting that anyone with information regarding his current whereabouts contact the 14 Division criminal investigation bureau or reach out anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

### Legal Context
Criminal harassment, as defined under the Criminal Code of Canada, encompasses a range of behaviors that cause a person to reasonably fear for their safety. Convictions for this offense can result in significant custodial sentences, depending on the severity of the pattern of conduct and whether the accused has violated prior court-ordered conditions.

The Toronto Police Service continues to process incoming tips from the public as the search remains active. No further court appearances or administrative updates have been scheduled by the department at this time.
