Topps and the NBA Launch Exclusive Patch Programme, Fan Events
Topps, Fanatics Collectibles, and the NBA have announced a multiyear collaboration introducing uniquely authenticated jersey patches to trading cards, beginning with the 2025-26 NBA season. The partnership will feature the “Topps Rookie Debut Patch” and the “Gold NBA Logoman Patch,” both embedded in exclusive cards.
This collaboration elevates the collectibility of NBA memorabilia by directly linking game-worn jerseys to trading cards. The “Topps Rookie Debut Patch” will be sourced from jerseys worn during a player’s NBA debut, notarized, signed by the player, and placed in a 1/1 autograph card. Additionally, jerseys of the Kia NBA Most Valuable Player, Kia Rookie of the Year, and Kia Defensive Player of the Year will feature a “Gold NBA Logoman Patch” that will also be incorporated into cards.
To celebrate the partnership, Topps and the NBA will host fan events beginning October 23 at NBA stores in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and the Fanatics Collectibles Store in London, offering giveaways and activities for basketball fans.
