Southwest Florida Quarterback Showcase: Top Performers Emerge as Season Approaches

As the new football season dawns, Southwest Florida boasts a talented roster of quarterbacks, each bringing a unique skill set to the field.Fans are already buzzing about the potential impact these signal-callers will have on their teams’ success.

Ardezzone, a standout performer, demonstrated his capabilities in the 2024 season, completing nearly 54 percent of his passes for 1,815 yards and 15 touchdowns, while throwing only six interceptions. His most statistically extraordinary game came in a decisive 55-28 victory over Cypress Lake, where he threw for 402 yards and five touchdowns on 23-of-30 passing.

Harris, another notable quarterback, recorded 642 passing yards and seven touchdowns against three interceptions last season. he also proved his dual-threat ability wiht five rushing touchdowns.

stewart returns as a highly regarded quarterback in southwest Florida. In 2024, he showcased his accuracy by completing 61 percent of his passes for 2,405 yards and 26 touchdowns, with nine interceptions. His ground game was also effective, contributing 244 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 52 carries.

Germinal displayed efficiency last season, completing 56 percent of his passes for 1,580 yards and 16 touchdowns, with a mere four interceptions. A two-game stretch saw him accumulate 574 passing yards and six touchdowns. He also added 351 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 52 attempts.

DiLoreto‘s 2024 season included completing 51 percent of his passes for 1,964 yards and 26 touchdowns, though he also had 14 interceptions. He contributed two additional touchdowns on the ground.

Molina emerged as one of the region’s top dual-threat quarterbacks. He passed for 907 yards and 11 touchdowns through the air,complemented by 302 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on the ground.

Frontino completed nearly 55 percent of his passes last season, accumulating 1,257 yards, 13 touchdowns, and only three interceptions. He also added 147 rushing yards on 30 carries.

Quinn had a strong showing last season, completing nearly 57 percent of his passes for 2,500 yards and 26 touchdowns, with six interceptions. He also contributed 257 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 38 carries.
