Tom De Cock Eliminated From De Verraders After Round Table Vote

Tom De Cock, a radio presenter and author from Kessel-Lo, had to leave the television program De Verraders on Sunday after receiving the most votes against him at the round table.

The Round Table Confrontation

In De Verraders, participants compete in a psychological game built on strategy, lies, and mistrust. A small group of secret traitors attempts to eliminate fellow candidates, while the loyalists try to unmask them. During the round table segment, players vote out anyone they suspect of being a traitor. Anyone who loses the trust of the group runs the risk of having to leave the program. Tom De Cock defended himself like a lion, but could no longer prevent his elimination.

Bert, Faroek, and Goedele also joined the offensive against Veerle, with Goedele sharply remarking during the clashes that Veerle was playing a master role. Veerle fought back and turned her sights on Tom, who immediately shot back that the evidence against her matched the case against him. Especially actress Veerle Dobbelaere fueled the discussion and set the others on his track.

Noah Breaks the Deadlock

The vote deadlocked with five ballots cast for Veerle and five for Tom, leaving Noah to cast the deciding vote. Noah chose to eliminate Tom. Upon his departure, the ousted player expressed frustration with his fellow loyalists, stating he was disappointed they allowed themselves to be dragged onto the Tom train so quickly, while urging remaining players to find the actual spider in the web.
