Tom Brady & NFL Stars Play Flag Football: How to Watch the 2026 Classic
Tom Brady will return to the football field Saturday, but not in the NFL. The seven-time Super Bowl champion is slated to play in the inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, a showcase event that is gaining attention as flag football prepares for its Olympic debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
Brady will lead Founders FFC, alongside fellow NFL stars Joe Burrow, Jayden Daniels, and DeVonta Smith, in a round-robin tournament against Wildcats FFC and Team USA Football. The event, originally scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, was moved to Los Angeles due to ongoing geopolitical concerns and travel advisories in the Middle East, according to event organizers.
The Fanatics Flag Football Classic isn’t simply a celebrity exhibition. It’s a significant opportunity for talent evaluators to assess NFL players’ adaptability to the flag football format as Team USA begins the process of building its Olympic roster. Current members of the U.S. Men’s national flag football team will also participate, competing alongside and against their NFL counterparts.
The event begins at 4 p.m. ET and is scheduled to conclude at 7:30 p.m. ET. Fans can watch the game on Fox, as well as through live streams on Fox One and Tubi, a free streaming service owned by Fox. The streaming service Fubo also offers access to the event.
BMO Stadium, home to both the Los Angeles Football Club and Angel City FC, has a seating capacity of up to 22,000 and will also serve as the venue for flag football competitions during the 2028 Olympics.
Founders FFC boasts a roster that also includes Saquon Barkley and Myles Garrett. The Wildcats FFC roster has not been publicly released in full. Team USA Football will field a team comprised of Aamir Brown, Velton Brown Jr., Isaiah Calhoun, Nico Casares, Mike Daniels, Laval Davis, Tyler Davis, Darrell “Housh” Doucette III, Ja’Deion High, Jamie Kennedy, Laderrick “Pablo” Smith, and Shawn Theard Jr.
