Tolmezzo Falls to Juventus in Late Rally, 3-1
TOLMEZZO, ITALY – Tolmezzo Carnia suffered a 3-1 defeat at home against Juventus Sant’Andrea on Sunday, marking their second consecutive loss in the championship. Despite an early lead from De Blasi in the 9th minute, juventus overturned the result with goals from Zucchiatti (69′), and Pagliaro (83′).
The match, played at the redeveloped camp A of the “Fratelli Ermano” stadium, saw Tolmezzo initially dominate. De Blasi’s goal came after a right-sided attack and assist from spoon,finding him in space to shoot precisely under the crossbar. juventus struggled to respond in the first half, with a Liut shot in the 38th minute being their closest attempt.
The second half saw a shift in momentum. Juventus equalized through Zucchiatti in the 69th minute,capitalizing on a cross from Pagliaro. Pagliaro then secured the win for Juventus in the 83rd minute, exploiting a defensive lapse.
Tolmezzo attempted a late comeback, with a Micelli shot narrowly missing the target, but Juventus held on for the victory.
