The Turkish Housing Administration (TOKİ) will conduct lottery draws for 500,000 housing units across 11 provinces this week, beginning February 16th and continuing through February 22nd, 2026, according to a recent announcement.

The draws follow the completion of the lottery process in 58 provinces, and are keenly anticipated by prospective homeowners. İstanbul, Ankara, and İzmir are among the cities where residents are awaiting the results, according to reports.

TOKİ’s 500,000 housing project includes both 1+1 and 2+1 apartment types. Recent examples of the planned units showcase modern living spaces and functional designs, with an emphasis on efficient use of space, particularly in smaller units. The designs prioritize both usability and aesthetics in the arrangement of living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms.

The kura çekimi, or lottery draw, began on December 29, 2025, in Adıyaman, and has continued on a weekly basis. The administration has released visuals of sample apartments, offering potential buyers a glimpse of the interior layouts and square footage of the available properties. The 1+1 apartments are designed as compact living spaces, while the 2+1 units offer more spacious accommodations suitable for families.

Details regarding bathroom and kitchen features highlight modern ceramic tiling and a focus on both storage capacity and ergonomic design. TOKİ has emphasized the efficient use of space in its sample housing types, aiming to maximize functionality within the available square footage.
