TNA Talent Exploring WWE Options Amidst Contract Negotiations
BREAKING: Several top TNA Wrestling stars are reportedly in discussions with WWE as they await updated contract offers from TNA following the recent proclamation of a new media rights deal with AMC.
The delay in finalizing the television agreement created a backlog in contract negotiations, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Many wrestlers had postponed talks, anticipating more significant offers onc the deal was confirmed. “A lot of the talent has been very patiently waiting for the announcement of the television deal because the company has been slow in offering new contracts,” reported Dave Meltzer. He added that members of the roster are now closely monitoring the level of offers TNA will present.
This situation echoes the interest WWE showed in Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry earlier this year, after both made appearances on NXT while under contract with TNA. Meltzer stated, “there are active top TNA wrestlers in discussion with WWE similar to what happened with Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry,” highlighting the ongoing influence of the working relationship between the two companies on talent movement.
Names believed to be awaiting new offers from TNA include Mike Santana, Mustafa ali, Jake Something, AJ Francis, Steve Maclin, and Zachary Wentz. TNA is prioritizing the retention of these key performers as it prepares for its premiere on AMC in January 2026 and enters a new era for the promotion.
