Oklahoma Defense Receives Varied Injury Updates Ahead of Saturday’s Matchup with Tennessee
NORMAN,OK – The Oklahoma Sooners received a mixed bag of injury news on Friday,November 1,2024,as they prepare to face the Tennessee Volunteers. However, the team continues to grapple with several absences on both sides of the ball.
The Sooners’ injury situation impacts their depth and potential strategies for Saturday’s contest. On the offensive side, running backs Jovantae Barnes and Taylor Tatum, along with wide receiver Keontez Lewis, are ruled out. Defensively, Oklahoma will be without defensive back Kendel Dolby.
Tennessee’s injury report lists cornerback Rickey Gibson III, cornerback Jermob McCoy, and wide receiver Travis Smith Jr. as out. Linebacker Arion Carter is listed as questionable for the Volunteers.
