Yordanka Hristova Reveals Domestic Abuse in New Autobiography
Sofia, bulgaria – Bulgarian singing legend yordanka Hristova details a history of domestic abuse at the hands of her ex-husband, Georgi Stoichkov, in the recently released third installment of her autobiography, “Confession.” The revelation comes as part of a broader recounting of personal relationships, including addressing long-standing rumors of an affair with Fidel Castro.
Hristova states she was initially angered by the speculation surrounding a potential relationship with the former Cuban leader, recounting an incident where Castro inquired about her through a Bulgarian diplomat. However, she clarifies, “Fidel as a man never attracted me, never excited me.” She instead expressed admiration for Flavio Bravo.
The most startling disclosures concern her marriage to Georgi Stoichkov, son of former party official Grigor Stoichkov. Hristova describes a fairytale beginning that devolved into a tumultuous relationship, particularly following the political changes after November 10th. She recounts StoichkovS increasing rudeness towards her and their two children as friends distanced themselves from him.
The singer reveals the marriage ended with physical violence. ”Almost every night the tension at home could be cut with a knife,” she writes. “Once Georgi suddenly hit me. I won’t go into descriptive details, but my nose has been crooked ever since.” Despite an official divorce, the couple lived together for four years following the incident.
“Confession” also touches on Hristova’s relationships with musician Hristiyan Platov and the husband of TV presenter Brigitta Cholakova, detailing both the highs and lows of those connections.
Hristova will officially present the final part of her autobiography on December 10th at the Astoria hotel in Sofia, where she will meet with fans and sign copies.
