UNRN to Host Information Session for Prospective Medical Students
BARILOCHE, Argentina - The National University of Río Negro (UNRN) will host an informative talk regarding its new Medicine career programme on Saturday, September 6, at 10 am in the Anasagasti 1463 building, Bariloche. The session aims to provide details for students considering applying to the program,which is designed to train medical professionals focused on primary healthcare.
This event is particularly relevant for students in their final year of secondary school, as the UNRN Medicine program is structured to allow immediate continuation of studies post-graduation. Registration for the program remains open until October 17, after which the mandatory entrance process will begin - initially virtually in October, followed by in-person evaluations in Febuary 2026. The program emphasizes complete, family, and community-based medical care, with a focus on equitable access to healthcare in diverse environments.
