United East Conference Announces 2023 Field Hockey All-Sportsmanship Team
LANCASTER, PA – The United east Conference unveiled its inaugural Field Hockey All-Sportsmanship Team today, recognizing student-athletes who exemplify integrity and fair play on and off the field. The team comprises five individuals representing a diverse range of institutions within the conference.
This new team highlights the United East’s commitment to fostering a positive and respectful athletic environment. Recognizing sportsmanship alongside athletic achievement underscores the conference’s values and sets a standard for competitors. The honorees were selected based on nominations from their coaches and demonstrated consistent ethical conduct throughout the 2023 season.
Cedar Crest college’s representative on the team is student-athlete, while Lancaster Bible College is represented by Gabby Dunlap, a senior. Penn State Harrisburg’s Anna Moyer, a sophomore, also earned recognition. Rounding out the team are junior Emma Mastrangelo from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and sophomore Haley Hamrick of Wilson College.
The United East Conference is comprised of 14 NCAA Division III institutions: Cairn University, Cedar Crest College, Gallaudet University, Keystone College, Lancaster Bible College, Notre Dame of Maryland University, Penn college, Penn State Abington, Penn State Berks, Penn State Brandywine, penn State harrisburg, St. mary’s College of Maryland, University of Valley Forge, and Wilson College.
